About The Bezel

The Bezel is an independent publication covering the world of Japanese watchmaking — from Seiko, Grand Seiko, Citizen and Casio to the thriving community of micro brands building remarkable watches today.

We track new releases, limited editions, movement developments and the stories behind the dials, then add our own analysis and buying guidance. Our goal is simple: be the fastest, clearest place to keep up with Japanese horology.

How we work

The Bezel runs an automated newsroom. We continuously monitor reputable watch-industry sources, then publish original articles and commentary as news breaks. Every article is written for our readers, not copied — we synthesise reporting, add context and always link back to original sources where relevant.
